Cutting Corners

I was recently in a newer restaurant on Maple Road. My friends noticed the decor. I noticed the electrical work! More specifically, I noticed the things hanging over our heads, the lights. They were hung on cords above the tables. You've seen these lights all over the place. The problem is that they were all uneven. Then I noticed that the cover plates and switches were crooked.

Why would a contractor do this?

Didn't he care about his reputation or was this just a once and done job?

It's not very difficult to make sure everything is aligned and looking great. It just takes a little extra thought and care. Next time you're out take a look and you'll find that this kind of corner cutting happens too often.

If that was your business, how would you want it done?

Great posting and yes I have seen shoddy work like this in too places to list and I guess people have just become complacent or willing to accept what really should be unacceptable workmanship.

Kudos to you, by the way, on a terrific looking site. Clearly, quality is job one with you folks...gee, I hope that didn't sound too much like a commerical for Ford.
